Vision
Auniati University envisions nurturing a generation of self-dependent citizens imbued with self-respect and dignity. The university aims to develop versatile individuals equipped with skills alongside knowledge. It strives to foster a culture of critical inquiry within the teaching-learning process and aspires to help India emerge as a global knowledge hub in the contemporary world.

Mission

• To design and develop an education system inspired by the Satra tradition of Assam, rooted in Indian knowledge, skills, and a spirit of enquiry.
• To instill in new generations a deep respect for India’s cultural heritage and the broader human culture.
• To encourage the preservation and promotion of traditional Indian knowledge systems, blending them harmoniously with modernity.

Objectives

1. Develop Education Based on Indian Ethics and Morality:
   Provide education intrinsically grounded in traditional Indian values, particularly Vaishnava ethics emphasizing high moral standards, social upliftment, and cultural identity, while ensuring global excellence.
2. Social Relevance and Inclusivity:
   Make education socially relevant, especially for disadvantaged communities, through a mission rooted in Sattriya ethics, while addressing contemporary social and economic challenges.
3. Regional Outreach and Accessibility:
   Extend modern educational opportunities to remote and tribal areas of Assam and Northeast India by establishing campuses and study centers in border and peripheral regions such as Sadiya, Amguri, Lakhimpur, Dhemaji, and Nagaon.
4. Promote Vaishnava Satras’ Ideals:
   Spread the values of the Vaishnava Satras of Assam to inspire humility, servitude, and social responsibility among the youth, creating human resources that are both skilled and ethically grounded.
5. Innovative and Unique Educational Code:
   Develop an educational framework distinct from existing institutions, producing graduates who excel academically and contribute meaningfully to society.
6. Comprehensive Academic and Research Excellence:
   
   • Provide instruction, training, and research facilities in higher education.
   • Foster intellectual growth and create centers of excellence for knowledge advancement.
   • Offer continuing education and establish examination and study centers within and beyond Assam.
   • Ensure academic standards align with national regulatory bodies like UGC, AICTE, NCTE, and others.
   • Pursue any other objectives approved by the Government to fulfill the university’s mission.
