Sri Sri Duttadeva Goswami Constituent Campus, Auniati University:
Located in the peaceful and culturally rich island of Majuli, the Sri SriDuttadevaGoswami Constituent Campus of Auniati University offers special courses in the traditional art forms of Assam. Under the Faculty of Performing Arts, students can take six-month certificate and one-year diploma courses in Sattriya music (GayanSāili), instrumental music (Bayan Sāili), and dance (NrityaSāili). From this academic year, a Bachelor's degree program in Mass Communication is also being introduced.
The campus is also home to the Museum of AuniatiSatra, which displays rare and valuable items from Assam’s past. These include old jewelry, royal clothes, ancient manuscripts, weapons, and beautifully crafted objects made of bell metal, wood, and ivory. The museum offers a deep look into the cultural and spiritual history of the region, including connections to the Ahom kings.
