This committee aims to address and resolve grievances of students in a fair, transparent, and timely manner.

Composition of the Committee:
The Student's Grievance Redressal Committee of Auniati University comprises the following members:

2. Ombudsperson: Dr. Anil Kumar Gogoi, Retired Principal, Janji HNS College

Functions of the Committee:
The Student's Grievance Redressal Committee is responsible for:

1. Redressing grievances of students related to academic and non-academic matters.
2. Providing a platform for students to express their concerns and suggestions.
3. Ensuring a fair and transparent process for addressing grievances.
4. Maintaining confidentiality and anonymity of the complainant, if desired.
5. Recommending measures to prevent recurrence of similar grievances.

Procedure for Filing Grievances:
Students can file their grievances in writing or online through the university's website. The grievance should include:

1. Name and contact details of the student.
2. Description of the grievance.
3. Supporting documents, if any.

Timeline for Redressal:
The committee shall endeavour to redress grievances within a period of:

1. Two weeks for minor grievances.
2. Four weeks for major grievances.

Appeal Mechanism
If a student is not satisfied with the decision of the committee, they can appeal to the Vice Chancellor within a period of two weeks.

Confidentiality and Anonymity
The committee shall maintain confidentiality and anonymity of the complainant, if desired.
